
Career Colleges of America is a collection of for-profit career colleges focused on providing career-oriented education for adults. The school was established in 1988, and was bought by CCA EduCorp in 1991. The college now operates three campuses in Southern California, located in South Gate, San Bernardino and Los Angeles.
Career Colleges of America programs
CCA offers career-focused programs in the field of health care, including the business and administrative side. Its programs include:
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Vocational Nurse
- Surgical Technology
- Medical Assistant
- Medical Biller
- Pharmacy Technician
- Computerized Office Assistant

Career Colleges of America accreditation
CCA is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET), a national accrediting agency. Additionally, the school’s surgical tech program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), and the vocational nursing program is accredited by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT).
